Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
Our Light the Night Walk will be held on September 29th at ABQ Uptown. We require volunteers to attend a training before-hand so they know how to effectively set up, staff, and tear down the event on Saturday, September 29th. The training is set to be held on Saturday, September 22nd from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Crown Plaza ABQ.
The shift times available for the event on Saturday, September 29th are as follows:
-9 a.m.-2 p.m.
-1:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
-6 p.m.- 11 p.m.
Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project:
Blood cancer patients, their friends and families.
Additional Requirements:
Good communication skills, flexibility, and able to lift 25+ pounds.
