Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
We would like to invite families, individuals and groups to volunteer with us on Saturday April 27th from 8am – 12pm. It is National Volunteer Week! Volunteers will help us with a variety of tasks from repacking bulk items, sorting canned goods, dry goods and produce, helping with our upcoming warehouse audit and more! This volunteer opportunity is great for those who would like to give back to their community and have a couple of hours to spare on the weekend!
Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project:
Volunteers make it possible for Roadrunner Food Bank to receive and transport more than 26 million pounds of food annually and feed nearly 40,000 people every week.
Nonprofit Will Provide:
A fun and meaningful environment to volunteer!
Additional Requirements:
We have 2 shifts available. 8am – 10am and 10am – 12pm. But volunteers are more than welcome to stay from 8am – 12pm! Volunteers have to be at least 6 years old and please wear closed toed shoes and shirts with sleeves (no tank tops etc…) Please let me know what shift you would like to volunteer.
