Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
Help complete a landscape project at Roadrunner Food Bank to save on water and put back into our core mission of feeding the hungry! In addition to our regular volunteer times (M-F from 8 am to 3 pm), Roadrunner Food Bank needs help on Sat., March 24 and Sat., March 31 from 8 am until noon.
Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project:
The landscaping project will help save on water expenses that we can put back into our core mission of feeding the hungry.
Nonprofit Will Provide:
We have some tools available for use, but not enough for 50 people. Please let us know if you can bring/provide landscaping tools that will be needed (see addtional requirements below).
Additional Requirements:
Volunteers will be working outside and should bring hats, gloves, shovels, picks, rakes and wheelbarrows. Please wear weather appropriate clothing. Access to our lobby and restrooms will be available.
