Encouraging children to believe in themselves, introducing them to the love and therapy a horse can impart, and providing pure joy to children are the cornerstones of the Galloping Grace Youth Ranch. Galloping Grace Youth Ranch is a newly built, working horse ranch located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Its main purpose is to allow children, teens, and even adults to come at no cost, and experience the unconditional love of a horse. While our primary objective is to serve disadvantaged children, no one is turned away and everyone who comes has the opportunity to care for the horses and learn what it takes to maintain the ranch while developing a personal relationship with the animals. At the ranch, work and fun go hand in hand. The mission of Galloping Grace Youth Ranch is to bring pure joy to children. But for many it brings so much more. Many of the kids who come are given hope and experience healing. Each child arrives here with their own special needs, and our staff of volunteers determines the best course of action on an individual basis.
