Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
Help sort, repack and fill food boxes. Volunteer needed: Monday – Friday, 8 am to 3 pm with some Saturday hours. Register online at www.rrfb.org/volunteer for a shift or call 505.349.8825.
Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project:
The Food Bank supplies food to nearly 40,000 hungry people every week. Volunteers help us prep food for distribution to agencies and direct service programs.
Nonprofit Will Provide:
Volunteers will be asked to sign in/out. Staff will train volunteers on site for the volunteer. Volunteers are welcome to use the lobby for breaks and meal breaks.
Additional Requirements:
Volunteers must wear closed toed shoes. Groups of children must be accompanied. Ages 6-10 (1 adult per 3 children)and Ages 11-15 (1 adult per 6 children).
