Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
Facilitators lead grief support groups for children, teens or adults either on the West Side or in the North Valley.
Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project:
Grieving children and their adult caregivers.
Nonprofit Will Provide:
Facilitators are not required to have any experience in support groups or counseling. Facilitators are trained, teamed up with more experienced facilitators, and supported by our staff.
Additional Requirements:
The time commitment is approximately 3.5 hours one evening every other week for 1 year, after 16 hours of training (Next training January 12 & 19, 2013)
