Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
The Harwood Art Center relies on a diverse corps of volunteers year round for event staffing, administrative help, marketing, and more. We invite community members to apply as a volunteer at our website, harwoodartcenter.org or by contacting Jen DePaolo at
[email protected]
Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project:
The Harwood Art Center was started as a way to build connections with our immediate neighborhood and over the last 20 years, Harwood has become an anchor in our community. Our outreach programs, events, and all ages art education offerings expand our reach, making Harwood a center for creative community in Albuquerque.
Nonprofit Will Provide:
Volunteers will earn a membership packet after 10 hours of service, which includes discounts at local businesses, reduced tuition for Harwood art classes and discounted or free admission to Harwood events.
Additional Requirements:
Independent transportation and professional dress are helpful to Harwood volunteers. While the Harwood does not make special requirements of it's volunteers, we do appreciate the unique skills and interests each volunteer brings to us and we work hard to find a job placement that suits each volunteer.
Is this an ongoing opportunity?:
