Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
Crossroads for Women is in need of volunteers who can provide administrative assistant support at it's congregational living site, Maya's Place. This volunteer would answer phones, file paper work and assist clients and staff with various needs.
Days/times needed: Tues and/or Thursday 9-5 (half days are possible--we're flexible!).
Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project:
Crossroads for Women provides comprehensive services to support women working to break the cycle of homelessness and incarceration and achieve healthy, stable, and self-sufficient lives in the community for themselves and their children.
Additional Requirements:
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, 2 line phone system, filing experience, great interpersonal skills, calm in the eye of the storm.
