Main Areas of Responsibility: 
Must be able to represent the character and needs of Esperanza to donors and the general public. Needs outstanding oral and written communication skills, including public speaking; strong leadership, analytical and planning skills; outstanding interpersonal skills.
Additional Areas of Responsibility: 
EXAMPLE DUTIES Create, coordinate, and manage annual giving and direct mail campaigns. Build upon the organization’s existing base of donors. Research, expand and implement donor/giving initiatives based on an assessment of organizational needs. Assist with coordination of donor and development projects and programs. Research grant and other resource opportunities and assist with writing any related proposals.
Other Information/Requirements: 
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Liberal Arts, Public Relations, Psychology. 3 to 5 years experience in a non-profit setting, fundraising, volunteer coordination, special events, and public relations within Santa Fe (2-3 years). Successful major fund raising event, documented. Strong computer skills, successful NCIC background clearance within 30 days of employment.
