Executive Leadership
Amy S. Duggan, Center Director, has extensive nonprofit leadership experience, previously as Program Director of the Santa Fe Community Foundation, and formerly as Executive Director of United Way of Northern New Mexico, Executive Director of Community Home Ownership in Seattle, and two director positions with American Lung Association of Washington. In her current role with the Santa Fe Community Foundation, Amy has led capacity building workshops for nonprofits, including such topics as succession planning, planned giving, marketing and grantwriting. She has partnered with us at the CNPE to offer Grantmaker, Grantseeker forums where agencies get the opportunity to meet and network with funders in an informal, group setting; and is active in regional collaborative efforts, including chairing the committee for the New Mexico Association of Grantmakers, NMAG, Common Grant application, (NMAG is also a Center partner). She also oversees the grants programs at the Community Foundation, and is affiliated with many diverse initiatives including Hispanics in Philanthropy, Native American and Gay and Lesbian Initiatives.
Jack Holmes, President and CEO of United Way of Central New Mexico, has spent forty-one years with the nonprofit community, thirty-five of those with United Way. He has always focused his efforts within United Way on community problem solving, innovation, and customer service. He was one of the first to introduce a “money back” guarantee for donors, and a program to secure underwriting of United Way administrative costs for corporate contributions. Jack is a member of the Albuquerque Economic Forum, the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, the Belen Chamber of Commerce, the Los Lunas Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Albuquerque, and Quality New Mexico. Jack is married and has six children and twenty-two grandchildren. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
LaDonna Hopkins, CDO of United Way of Central New Mexico. LaDonna has been part of the staff of United Way of Central New Mexico since 1995. She is the Vice President and Chief Development Officer with responsibility for Donor Relations which includes Major Gifts, Workplace Campaign and Specialized Communications,. She brings more than 30 years of professional experience in the nonprofit field. Before coming to United Way she served as Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Albuquerque. Current board involvement includes the Del Norte Rotary Foundation and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Randy Royster recently joined the staff of the Albuquerque Community Foundation and currently serves as the Executive Director. A fourth generation native of Albuquerque, Randy is a human resource executive and attorney with a passion for philanthropy. He is excited about leading the Albuquerque Community Foundation into its next twenty-five years as Executive Director.
